*The availability of the PSO2:NGS Global Closed Beta Test client pre-download has been delayed. The new estimated time is 5/10, 6:00 PM (PDT).
N° of Players Accepted: 10 On the scale of tens of thousands of players
*Selection will be made via lottery if a large number of people apply.
Entry Conditions: 37 areas (including NA) where the service is available on Xbox Live
*This closed beta test is only available on PC.
CBT Selection Announcement: If you accept the early sign-up on the Xbox Insider Hub app, it will show as “joined” on the Xbox Insider Hub app for registered members.
CBT Participation Rewards: The Participation Rewards for the closed beta tests can be found in the following Participation Rewards session.

What’s the Closed Beta For?
- Testing the overall fundamental game system
*Testing the fundamental game progression of PSO2:NGS, such as character actions, combat enemies, and quest development.
*Testing fundamental game progression and systems with all players starting the game after creating new characters.
*Testing for bugs that only occur in multiplayer environments.
- Server stress verification
*Operation verification and server network stress test with multiplayer environments.
- ARKS Cash and Star Gem operation test
*Functional test of content purchasable via ARKS Cash (AC) and Star Gems (SG)
*At the start of the test, all participating players will receive 20,000AC and 5,000SG.
*Feel free to use the content and items available for purchase with the AC and SG however you like during the test.
*The prices for content and items purchasable by AC and SG are tentative.

Participation Rewards
Test who fulfill certain condition will be eligible to receive special in-game items.
*The participation rewards will be distributed after the official launch of PSO2:NGS.
*Players will not be able to receive the rewards, if they are not logging in within certain period of time after PSO2:NGS launch.
*All rewards for PSO2:NGS Closed Beta Test participation will be distributed to the Xbox Live accounts that were used to participate.
*If you are playing PSO2 with an Xbox Live account, please use this account to participate in the PSO2:NGS Closed Beta Test.
*If you don’t have an Xbox Live Account for playing PSO2, please create one.
*If you have a Steam or Epic Games account, please link your account with an Xbox Live account before the official launch of PSO2:NGS.
*Clinging Rappy Earring (Accessory), STP: Ash – Handoff (Stamp) are tradable.
