PSO2 9th Anniversary Event
- Celebration of the 9th anniversary of the official launch of PSO2 in Japan!
- Various events will be held in PSO2:NGS to commemorate the event!
Beginning: 7/7 (end of maintenance)
Ending: 8/4 (beginning of maintenance)
Central City in a Festive Mood
Central City will be decked out with decoations, with the occasional firework lighting up the sky!
Xiandy appears in Central City
- Accept Task from Xiandy!
You can find the ARKS Phenomenologist Xiandy in front of the Central Tower. Talk to her to receive special 9th Anniversary tasks. Help her out to earn Seasonal Points!
- Get Items at the Exchange Shop!
Talk with Xiandy to exchange your Seasonal Points for various items! Get extravagant items such as stamps, accessories, Elemental Weapons, Star Gems, and powerful Augment Capsules!
In the second half of the 9th anniversary event, starting 07/21, there’ll be new accessories and additional Star Gems up for grabs, so race to collect all the exchange items!
The PSO2 9th Anniversary Even is being held!
The PSO2 9th Anniversary Event is being held to celebrate 9 years of fun and adventure in Phantasy Star Online 2! To commemorate the occasion, a Web Link Panels Event , as well as the Stamp-Drawing Contest and Item Design Contest are being held for both the Japanese and the Global versions of the game. Check out the Anniversary Site during the event for more details.
Special Enemies Appearing in Every Region
During the 9th Anniversary event, there will be special enemies with unique designs, such as Seasonal Enemies and the Ceremo Rappy!
Beginning: 7/7 (end of maintenance)
Ending: 8/4 (beginning of maintenance)
- Season Enemies with a Unique Mark will appear!
Starting with the Pettas Vera, which appears in the Urgent Quest “Command DOLLS Suppression Op”, seasonal variations of enemies and Dread Enemies will appear in every region! These enemies will have a unique mark called a Seasonal Symbol. Defeating Seasonal Enemies will earn you Seasonal Points, which can be exchanged for items. There might even be rare item drops! The sectors in which the Seasonal Enemies will appear will change from 07/21 with the start of the second half of the 9th Anniversary Event!
- Ceremo Rappy arrives on the Scene
Rappy dressed in elegant party clothes have arrived! They will drop rare items, so be sure to search them out!
- Gigantix with Seasonal Symbol is coming
During the 9th Anniversary Event, you can even find Gigantix with a Seasonal Symbol that will appear as Seasonal Enemies. Don’t forget that enemies with this symbol have their weakness changed to Lightning! Take ‘em down with a Lightning-attribute weapon to see if you can get some rare item drops! In the second half of the 9th Anniversary Event, there’ll be a new Gigantix appearing. So explore with caution!
Introducing the 3★ Rarity Weapon “Glissen Series”
Beginning: 7/7 (end of maintenance)
The Glissen series makes its appearance as the first Elemental Weapon in PSO2 NEW GENESIS! Weapons in the Glissen series have the Lightning attribute, so if you use them to hit an enemy’s weak point, you can build up the Elemental Down Factor without having to use Techniques!
You can get Glissen weapons from Seasonal Enemy drops or by exchanging Seasonal Points. During the 9th Anniversary event you can also get the Augment “Lightning Exploit” which, just as the name suggests, increases the damage dealt to enemies who are weak against Lightning, making for a powerful combo when paired with Glissen series weapons!

In addition to battle suits for fighting in water, you’ll find butler and maid outfits with a science-fiction twist! You’ll also find items that will change the animations for idling, movement, jumping, and landing, and items that will change your ears to fins! There’s also Emotes for scribbling on the ground, and the “Five” Pose which will be useful for screenshots! Be sure to get in on the action!

In this Scratch Ticket you’ll find science fiction-themed ARKS trainee clothes featuring Melee, Ranged, and Technique-themed designs, as well as newly-designed CAST parts! There are also items that will change motions such as landing from a jump, as well as accessories such as the TAMES Sunny Hood and Tail! For Emotes, be sure to check out a new sitting pose in the popular “Sit” Series!
